The End Of Facebook (in my opinion)

So Google plus (plus.google.com) has went public
and now you know longer need an invite to join. I personally love it, it combines the good things that both current social media giants Facebook and Twitter, and kicks the bad. So I do think that Google+ will eventually overtake Facebook and maybe Twitter as the new leading social media monster, as Facebook fades into Myspace land. With Google plus already having well over 10 million users its hard not to agree.

Pros

  • It plays nice with alot of other Google products (go figure), this is great news for android users like me. It incorporates picasa, gmail, chat, reader, documents, pictures, etc... all in one clean nice looking place.
  •  I love the circles! I can define the groups of people that I want to share things with, and hide it from the ones I don't, and the other users can't see were I've put them.
  • The instant upload is great, I don't even have to think about sharing a picture that i take on my phone, G+ sees it, uploads it and the next time i log on, it gives me the option to share it.
Cons
  • Its still young, and its gonna take some time for people to migrate to it.
  • Don't expect it to replace Facebook right away, like I said you wouln't find all of your friends on their.
